WHY TURKISH?
Today, the Turkish language is one of the most common in the world, spoken by about 220 million people and taught in more than 100 countries.
Türkiye Turkish is spoken as a native language by approximately 100 million people around the world. Turkish is a widely spoken language not only in Turkey, but also in some countries of Eastern Europe, the Balkans and the Caucasus. In addition, the importance of Turkish is increasing in countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy and the United States, countries to which Turkey carries out the most exports. The Turkish language will allow you to get acquainted with an ancient world based on a deep history and culture, as well as open the doors to a large geography with geopolitical significance.
TURKISH LANGUAGE EDUCATION
Türkiye Scholarships provides free 1 year Turkish language education to all Türkiye Scholarship students regardless of the language of the program they will study. Turkish Proficiency Certificate at C1 level is expected to be obtained by the students at the end of the language education they receive at the Turkish Language Teaching Centers (TÖMER) within universities. Speaking Turkish at an advanced level will be of benefit to the future careers of our students, as well as making their Turkish experience easier and more enjoyable.

A NEW LANGUAGE
While Turkish may seem to be a difficult language, certain characteristics of the language make it easy to learn. The Turkish language, which consists of 29 letters, is a phonetic language, pronounced as it is written. In the Turkish language, which has an agglutinative language structure, new words are derived from the word roots by systematically adding new suffixes. The logic of word derivation can be learned quickly with these suffixes, the duties and meaning of which are obvious. Nouns are not classified as masculine, feminine and neutral, making the Turkish language easier to learn.
